As the transition was being made in 2001 to move into the next seven years of funding, the NCE 2nd Funding Cycle, the following project themes constituted the ISIS Canada research program in budget year 2001/2002.

Projects that were added to the program after the 1998 mid-term review submission have their project descriptions included herein for completeness.
