Dr. Dimos Polyzois is a Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Manitoba. He received his B.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto in 1971, his M.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto in 1976, and his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 1981. His research interests include the behaviour of cold-formed members and built-up girders; advanced composite materials for transmission poles, and fatigue considerations in power transmission lines.
