Dr. Dean K. McNeill received his Ph.D. degree from the University of
Manitoba in 1999 and subsequently held an NSERC Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He is currently an Associate
Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the
University of Manitoba, having joined the department in 2001. In 2005 he was appointed Canada Research Chair in Information Processing for Intelligent Infrastructure. His research interests are in the area of structural health monitoring, embedded computing and adaptive signal processing.
