Dr. Dean K. McNeill received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Manitoba in 1999. Since that time he has held an NSERC Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland prior to joining the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba as an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering in 2001. His research interests are in the area of neural computation and adaptive signal processing for embedded computing systems.
