Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of ADS Inc., Mr. Paul Drouin is an engineer who became a manufacturer in 1987. He is also the President of Texel Inc., Texel USA and Option Environment Inc., Chairman of the Board of ADS Composites Group Inc., TM Composites Inc., Fibrex Composites Inc., Marquez Transtech Ltée, New England Composites Inc. and also Somax Texel Inc.

Born on June 3, 1945 in Ste-Marie-de-Beauce, Quebec, Mr. Drouin obtained his degree at the Université Laval in engineering studies with thermodynamic option in 1970. His first employment was as a technical representative for Trane of Canada. In 1976, he joined an engineering firm as a Project Manager Engineer. Since 1977, at Angers, Drouin, Simard & Associés, which became ADS Associés and then ADS Inc., he has worked in several positions with increasing responsibilities.

Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec, member of the Société d’Expansion de la Nouvelle-Beauce, member of Réseau C.M.Q. Inc. (gathering together of world-class manufacturing company managers), member of the Club Ste-Foy GCE (company manager grouping), administrator of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie du Québec Métropolitain, administrator of the Fondation de l’Université Laval, administrator of the GATIC and member of the Advisory Committee of the Bureau Fédéral de Développement Régional.
